It continues along the mansion\u2019s <strong>central axis<\/strong> and serves as a space for <strong>private family life, study, and internal reception<\/strong>.<br>The architecture follows the style of the first three sections and was <strong>expanded and renovated by Lin Chao-tung<\/strong> during the Tongzhi to Guangxu periods, maintaining consistency throughout the mansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Layout and Function:<\/strong><br>The fourth section primarily functions as a <strong>study, place for learning, and space for calligraphy and painting collections<\/strong>. Some areas are also used for <strong>daily living or private family gatherings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Architectural Details:<\/strong><br>The roof ridges, wood carvings, window lattices, stone carvings, and decorative clay reliefs are all finely crafted, preserving the <strong>typical craftsmanship of Qing Dynasty official residences<\/strong>.
